Baby roach babies are among the most common pests that can be found in Australian homes, with more than 30,000 being reported each year.
The pests have also been found to be damaging to property and health, with reports of bites and stings in many homes.
“They are a serious pest and if left unchecked they can damage the health and safety of the residents,” a spokeswoman for the Australian Government said.
“We are urging the Australian people to take a proactive approach to preventing these pests.”
To help with your safety, the spokeswoman said there were a number of steps you can take to keep the pests at bay, such as: Keep your baby walking feet away from surfaces.
Do not allow your child to sit on any furniture or other objects that could cause the roach to bite.
